Our mission

To give maritime authorities and operators one place where vessel suitability, crew competence, statutory compliance and safety of life at sea are established, recorded and visible — before a sailing, not after an inquiry.

Three Numbers Every Maritime Authority Must Know

Who is aboard. Where the vessel is. When trouble begins. Paper manifests, radio only reporting, and filing cabinet certificates cannot answer those questions when minutes matter. A modern platform answers them continuously.

Who Is Aboard

When booking records, the manifest, and the true headcount disagree, search and rescue starts blind, and families wait for answers no one can give.

Where the Vessel Is

A vessel that only reports by radio is a vessel nobody can find at night. Search areas widen and response hours are lost to guesswork.

When Trouble Begins

Overloading, engine faults, and water ingress rarely announce themselves. On paper run fleets they are discovered at sea, when it is too late to hold the sailing.

Why MarineOps

Evidence, not opinion

Every finding, manifest, certificate and inspection is written into a system both the authority and the operator can see — not a report emailed after the fact.

Regulator-grade by design

Built for a national maritime administration first, so operator records are already in the shape the regulator accepts.

In-country delivery

A Guyanese-led team on the ground for inspections and operations, and a named JMCB team that stays until the platform is yours.

Proportionate

From a single vessel assurance review to a national platform: the same records, the same standard.

Why now

The Single Window Deadline Has Already Passed

Since 1 January 2024, the IMO Facilitation Convention has required ports to exchange ship arrival and departure information electronically through a Maritime Single Window. Small state administrations are held to the same standard as the largest flag states, with far smaller teams. MarineOps is built so a small administration can meet that standard with the team it already has.

Built for the Regulator

Most maritime software is built for operators and retrofitted for oversight. MarineOps is regulator first. The authority's view of every vessel, every certificate, and every sailing in the jurisdiction is the core of the platform, not an afterthought — and operators work in the same record.

Safety-Critical First
Manifests, live tracking, incident reporting, and emergency alerting lead the deployment and are in daily operational use within six months.
Immutable Audit Trail
Every clearance, boarding, and status event is time stamped and write once. The evidence any inquiry needs, in hours instead of months.
Ministerial Reporting
The Monday morning briefing on one page: compliance posture, decisions pending signature, and what changed this week, exportable for the record.
International Vocabulary
Port and flag state control, MOU interfaces, and casualty reporting speak the language international maritime bodies expect.
National Operations Console
Vessels underway, all reporting
Live positions
Manifests sealed at departure
Souls on board known
Certificates expiring in 30 days
Renewals staged
Clearance held on a sensor fault
Caught at the pier

How we deliver

MarineOps is never dropped at your door. A named team works inside your organisation from day one: we migrate the records, configure every workflow, train every cohort, and run alongside your operations until the platform is second nature. In Guyana, inspections and operations support are carried out by our own team on the ground.

01

Discovery, Done With You

Structured working sessions with leadership, registrars, field officers or fleet managers. We map your registries, routes, workflows, and reporting obligations, and reconcile your paper records against a migration plan.

02

Configured to You

Your vessel types, your certificate categories, your regions and roles, your branding, your sign off chains. The platform arrives speaking your organisation's language on day one.

03

Migration We Carry

Our team digitises and loads your registries, certificates, and seafarer records, verified line by line with your officers. Institutional knowledge is captured, not lost.

04

Standing Watch Beside You

Embedded training by cohort, a parallel operations period, then go live with a named support team on call. Continuous upgrades and new capability as your needs grow.

Built by JMCB Technology Group

JMCB Technology Group is a Guyanese owned technology firm working in digital transformation for government and regulated industries, across maritime and energy, civic technology, healthcare, and defense. It is led by Jermaine Barker, who brings more than fifteen years of federal technology leadership at the U.S. Department of Justice and a Johns Hopkins AI Safety Fellowship.

MarineOps was built in Guyana, for Guyana. It is purpose built for the operational realities and statutory requirements of a national maritime authority, with an Anthropic certified AI engineering team building intelligence into the platform rather than bolting it on.
